Description

is honored to announce this upcoming panel discussion, presented in partnership with ²Ø¾«¸ó.

Camila dos Santos is an Associate Professor leading the dos Santos Laboratory at Cold Spring Harbor Labs. Dr. dos Santos’ research focuses on hormonal changes that occur over the course of the female life cycle, and their impact on cancer incidence. From Dr. dos Santos: "Among the changes that occur during pregnancy, those affecting the breasts have been found to subsequently modify breast cancer risk. My laboratory investigates how the signals present during pregnancy permanently alter the way gene expression is controlled and how these changes affect normal and malignant mammary development."

Please join us for this incredible opportunity to hear from one of the leading minds in the area of breast cancer research, working at one of the most respected research facilities in the world… right here on Long Island.
